Last week, I mentioned that we were launching a podcast called Clever, and shared with you our preview episode. Clever is hosted by myself alongside my friend, designer Amy Devers, and it’s about design. Well, actually, it’s about designers, too. We all live and work in the built world, and every object, system and environment in the built world has been designed, we we wanted a place where we could have a candid and revealing conversation with one of these super-smart people who are shaping the world around us through design. And that’s Clever.
We’ve launched our first two episodes – have a listen:
New York-based multi-disciplinary designer Joe Doucet tells Amy and Jaime why he doesn’t start any project with sketching, how a pair of avant-garde headphones caught the attention of Lady Gaga, and how he cross trains his brain. Read the show notes for this episode >>>
TV personality and interior designer Genevieve Gorder gives Amy and Jaime the lowdown on the whirlwind that was Trading Spaces, which changed the trajectory of her life and career. She also tells the story of working for Prince back in the day, and gets candid on divorce, motherhood, and telling off contractors. Read the show notes for this episode >>>
