
The great simplicity of a small home can actually compete with a larger one; you can make a small space look more luxurious than a big one. This is a weekend home that I can see myself living in all year around. I like the amount of glass, even that it may be too much direct sunlight. All the internal spaces are tied together visually and structurally. A new bedroom on the second floor fills a void in the original floor plan and takes advantage of the spectacular views. The twisted blades on the facade are amazing, they definitely give the exterior the extra depth it needs to really stand out. I would have liked to have seen the view out through the fins. They make the whole project externally. Tthe twisted fins remind me of a vertical version of of Herzog De Meurons Central Signal Tower in Basel…
