Margaret Taylor creates beautiful pieces of furniture using reclaimed wood in a patchwork pattern. My favorite are the beds. Actually, she creates a whole slew of amazing items, so you have to check out her website:

very nice piece of bed. We do use wooden recycled palette for our photo frames (www.atelier-arduini). Does Margaret paints the palettes or does she uses the palettes she found ?

Using this kind of wood is already done years ago by dutch designer Piet Hein Eek. http://www.pietheineek.nl/nl/collectie/sloophout/c-110.07
unfortunately it has been copied over and over again including this item.
