Gemstones is Maya Rozental’s graduation project from H.I.T. Israel for industrial design. Resembling moon rocks and intergalactic surfaces, she takes the theme to the next level creating a comfortable chair to contrast with the rocky surface.

A low table that features raw rocks or stones as legs of a low table. Which requires No screws or glue is used, and only combines the natural form of the rock with the Perspex.
While on the other hand; the couch employing thermoforming technology looks like a rigid but at the same time soft and stylish pile of rocks allowing comfortable sitting.

Together, the two complete each other to interpret the essence of the stone. Bringing the outdoor inside through low sitting, inspired by human behavior of finding rest on any elevated platform available.
