Michelle Fleck’s Landscape Reinvention Paintings

San Francisco-based painter Michelle Fleck is the subject of this week’s CMYLK. Fleck’s work focuses on the relationship between man and the landscape, specifically man’s desire to replace what is old and dated. Fleck draws inspiration from everyday life in the city, and her paintings serve as snapshots of an ongoing cycle of wear and replacement. We chose three of her works around these themes with which to pair Colourlovers palettes.
