Minimalist Kitchen Accessories by Andrea Ponti

Andrea Ponti, of Ponti Design Studio, designed a trio of kitchen accessories for Ommo, a brand-new design brand that launched at Ambiente in February. Taking a minimalist approach, Diga, Koma, and Torus feature matte silicone forms in fun colors, which are then paired with stainless steel details to round them out. The user-friendly utensils are bound to make your time in the kitchen more fun.

Diga is an all-in-one, dual color melamine bowl that lets you wash, drain, and serve your salad or vegetables without having to transfer them to another dish. A disk at the bottom of the bowl twists to drain water when you’re washing your veggies. When you’re done, turn the disk clockwise to lock it. When it’s sealed, you can use the bowl to serve.

Torus is a tea infuser that’s shaped like a donut but also twists around into an S-shape to hang onto the rim of a taller cup so that tea leaves will hit the water.

Koma is another tea infuser, but this one has a rounded base with a long handle that doubles as a tea stirrer. The stainless cover easily flips up so you can fill it with your loose tea leaves.
