A Modern, Black & White Apartment in Poland

Designed with a single man in mind, this modern, black and white apartment in Poznań, Poland was designed by KASIA ORWAT home design. Despite the goal of creating a raw and masculine space, the apartment could work for anyone. The striking contrast between black and white elements is occasionally broken up with bits of yellow and green.

The kitchen and dining room are connected. Four Masters chairs by Kartell are used at the table. You also notice that various shades of gray were incorporated balancing out the harshness of all of the black.

The floors are made of light gray resin which is much warmer than if they’d gone with a bright white. There’s even in-floor heating to keep your feet warm.
