Modern Prefab Townhomes in West Seattle

The collaboration between Chris Pardo Design: Elemental Architecture and Method Homes continues with Pardo’s latest prefab design. The Genessee Townhomes are three units in West Seattle that sit on a 5000 square foot lot. Each unit ranges from 1250 – 1400 square feet, with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

Laid out over three floors, the ground floor is built onsite with the two floors above built prefab by Method Homes.

The open riser concrete staircases in each unit are vertical towers with door-sized windows bringing light in.

The living areas of the units are seen through large windows set back from the exterior creating a cedar rainscreen. Other materials used are hardi panel, poured concrete, and metal accent panels.

I love the shiny gray kitchen cabinets and how they bounce light around the space.
