Modular Hotel Furniture by Papila and Bustper

I don’t know about you but whenever I get to my room at a hotel, I never look once towards the direction of the mini bar. Not only does the food look unappetizing (how much for that mini jar of macadamia nuts?) but this section of the room is usually lackluster and unappealing. Design studio Papila, in collaboration with furniture design company Bustper, is looking to change this experience with its new collection of modular cabinets specifically designed for hotels.

Entitled Nature, this collection was inspired by Mediterranean style and materials traditionally used in La Sénia (where Papila is located) like wood and terracotta. The collection has several different designs that include different components of the cabinet, like a fridge, a safe, a Bluetooth sound system with a connections dock, a door that turns into a table, and a side unit for storage. The designs have been carefully considered with factors like height and ergonomy in mind give a pleasant experience for hotel guests.

What do you think? I might just treat myself to those $16 macadamia nuts after all…
