We’ve partnered with Moop to give away one of their amazing bags (and when I say amazing I really mean it because I own a Market bag). Hurry hurry hurry, though, because this is a quickie… you only have until 5 PM ET on Friday, November 9th to enter.

I used to own the older Carrier (before they revamped it) and saved for months to buy it. Unfortunately, my sister lost it after I let her borrow it for a weekend. My life was shattered. I loved my big bag :(
Since I got the announcment of their new backpacks, I’ve had my eye on the grey waxed canvas one so that I won’t have to sarifice my equilibrium since the other bag was a shoulder/crossover. This would let me comfortably carry all my books and gadgets with great ease.. AND! It would be perfect to take along on my bike rides… The other wasn’t.

I like any of the defected items for sale purposes,haha :) But, my favorite bag is Messenger no.3 brown waxed canvas. I’m Social Worker and totally splurged. Justified the splurge with heavy use of the bag every day. The bag has endured some tough times and terrain! It has seriously been dragged from my car for a couple of feet and still lasted! Sadly, it needs to be put to rest after the aforementioned and being grossly overused! Time for a new one…or a free one? :)

Moop and their collection make a great impression on me! A few of the points I appreciate are the following:
+ small manufacturer
+ “mindful” business (according to moop’s website profile)
+ no leather! (I try to live vegan)
+ no loudly ripping (and clothes snatching) Velcro
+ a style I can identify with (practical, urban, natural, timeless, non-girly)
The messenger No. 1 (in grey) would be the most practical for me, as it is has a flap protecting the contents from precipitation, and is roomy.

We just bought the Letter Bag as a diaper bag and are super excited to use it (due in about 10 days!) but if I were to get another Moop bag, I’d go for the Carrier in grey. It would hold a lot, so very practical, but also very stylish.

I like both The Backpack and Messenger no.5. Both come with the wool sleeves. The design of The Backpack is neat, simple and clean. The Messenger no.5 isn’t too big for women with the handle that I don’t usually see with any other messenger styles. Attractive. As I already have a few rucksacks (although the designs can’t beat The Backpack here) and I’d like to have a bag that I can carry to work everyday,..

I love the messenger #3 in brown waxed canvas – it’s the perfect size and weight to carry around France. Plenty of room for bread, wine, cheese and a light sweater for when the sun sets. The fabric resists stains and literally repelled the spilled wine.

It’s the Paperback, for sure. And in the Special Edition black! As a carless urbanite, I rely upon totes and have never found one with all utility this bag offers. My current go-to bag is a reliable mid-size canvas bag with open top and longer handles, but I’d much prefer the Paperback’s shoulder strap option that allows a more secure hands-free carry. And the jet black would be as suitable to a business setting as useful everyday.

I like the Messenger no.1 best because it is waterproof which is necessary for year-round commuting in Utah. The dimensions allow me to carry my laptop or a few books. Also, It is not overly bulky if only transporting my laptop. The stap snaps are not the campy, plastic buckles which are a common negative to messenger bags. The bag is simple, unique, and well designed.

The Letter Bag – bc I have oodles of totes and no matter the appearance they all tote perfectly well – but the Letter Bag would be a perfect purse (cool looking, not too big not too small, a good strap, plenty of pockets, lightweight but holds a ton) and that is difficult to impossible to find. oh, my heart! I’m pretty much in love with the entire line. That yellow Backpack is fantastic, but since it’s sold out, I would probably choose the Messenger No. 3 in Gray; only bcuz I’d get the most use out of it. Have a great weekend!

These are lovely. I agree that they are beautifully gender-neutral, with plenty of potential to accent personal aesthetic tastes. It’s a difficult choice, but I would have to go with the Messenger No. 1 (in slate) if I won. Regardless, these are all incredibly attractive bags.

All the bags are so beautiful, but I think a market bag would suit me especially well (for going to market, of course!). Other than that, a Porter would make a great bag to carry around my knitting projects and a few extra items. The colors are all so pretty :)
