The Seville stuff is of course amazing looking. It should be noted that the Movement cover barrows from a 1930s Depro futurist poster. Its basically exactly the same except for what it says. Not that thats a bad thing, it looks fantastic. Along with the Joy Division cover, its really just a beautiful reference… Highjacked design. Dont think I’m knocking it! By doing what he did, stealing a graph here, repurposing a classic design, he elevated all that music to a higher artform. A borrowed language. And of course it still looks fresh today, of course why its poster here in the first place. I guess it was a pretty important time for music… ok, rant over.
