Naive Tableware by Vanja Bazdulj

London-based designer Vanja Bazdulj is working on an ever-growing collection of handmade tableware fashioned in slab built clay. The Naive Tableware series consists of raw, yet simple, cups, jugs, and vases with sketches and doodles done by the designer herself.

She was inspired by sketches and drawings that are left behind on urban walls in her area of London where “hipsters like to leave their marks.” So, on this collection, Bazdulj leaves behind her own markings creating a quirky collection of functional tableware.

The pieces are made by slab building, which is where you fold flat slabs of clay into 3D objects.
