New from Jarrod Lim

I first became aware of Jarrod Lim when I spotted his Koi chair. He will present some new work at Salone Satellite in Milan this week.

Idle Chair
“Inactivity is a luxury we should permit ourselves more often.” – Samuel Johnson, Letters to the son.

The Idle chairs evoke memories of times spent relaxing comfortably, enjoying a moment of peace and tranquility. The rounded wooden shapes provide a sense of tradition mixed with a minimal modernism and the two charming buttons inject just the right amount of character into this simple design.

Butler Table
This handsome table provides you with the perfect place to put your keys or coins or other small items when you return home. The styling of the table is distinctly animal-like in appearance, almost as if it could walk over to you if called. It can easily be placed in an entrance area or next to a comfortable armchair, as it sits quietly holding your belongings.

Interlock Coat Stand
This interesting coat stand uses a simple system of interlocking three flat pieces to form a stable structure for you to hang your hat or coat. Constructed of solid Teak wood, it is available in a dark stain and a range of colors.
