IKEA Summer Sneak Peek

Hey, did you know that IKEA should be all capital letters in all press materials? I did not know that. I know now :) You find out some interesting things when you read the fine print.

IKEA sent over some of their new summer textiles, and I’m pleased to give you this sneak peek. I’m really loving the simplicity of the primary colors.

    That’s because it is an acronym of the founders initials and the farm and village he grew up in! Ingvar Kamprad, Elmtaryd and Agunnaryd :)

    The Sommar fabric pictured is so Chanel Summer 2008. Yacht Rock. Do you know if they’re also doing it as a by-the-yard textile? I got excited in thinking that the folded blanket was actually printed with a contrasting border.
