Open The Tower Exhibition

Eurohigh design studio, in collaboration with KRADS, created the Open The Tower exhibit with the support of LEGO and Arup. Open The Tower features 676 LEGO models of skyscrapers in the scale of 1:1000, in a grid formation of 26 repeated structures in a linear fashion.

Led by Winy Maas, Alexander Sverdlov, and Ania Molenda, Eurohigh design studio spent two months researching the supreme European skyscraper and how they could be designed. Their goal was described as wanting to “translate the horizontal dimension of the city to a vertical one.” The results of this first exhibition will function as the beginning step of the second phase, which will be refining the design process for modeling eight European skyscrapers, but in scale 1:100.

The exhibit is currently on display in Oostserre (Tu Delft Faculty of Architecture), Rotterdam.
