Outdoor Lounge Bed by Patricia Urquiola for Kettal

Have you ever just wanted to move your bed outside so that you could sleep under the stars? Or, so you can pretend you’re camping without having to sleep on the ground? Luckily Milan-based designer Patricia Urquiola has created something where you can do just that. The Kettal Cottage was made for the Spanish company Kettal and it’s a modern, house-shaped retreat that just screams relaxation (and my name!).

Under the slatted roof, there is a platform with chaise-style seating built for two, which you can raise or lower. It appears that you can choose fabrics and finishes to really personalize it into your own little backyard paradise. I don’t know about you, but I’d take any of them – any which way they came.
