Pencil Light by Caroline Olsson

The Pencil Light, designed by Norwegian designer Caroline Olsson, is both a lamp and a container. Perfect for a designer or letter writer, the dual functioning object will provide direct light to whatever you’re drawing or writing, while also providing a receptacle for your instruments. The desire is to “encourage you to write and draw more analog.”

Outfitted with a screw and hinge mechanism that connects the top and bottom piece, the lamp can be completely closed up or open and adjusted to direct the light at whatever angle you wish. When the Pencil Light is open, so is the container for your drawing utensils.
