New York-based Craig Ward is an award-winning designer (multiple times over), as well as a TED speaker, and he’s compiled his years of design knowledge into the upcoming book, Popular Lies About Graphic Design.

There are no hard and fast rules with design, although some people would like you to think that there are, so Ward has taken on the task of clearing up the misconceptions. If you’ve ever spent time doing graphic design, the topics will definitely register with you.

The book will offer you insight and perhaps, will make you think about design in a different way. It’s currently available for pre-order here.

This is so cool! Thanks for sharing this article! Graphic design could never be so easy for me =). In fact, I am always looking for easy steps tutorial sessions for this thing!

Unfortunately, due to the austerity strikes in Spain in late October/early November, there was a delay in printing and shipping copies of Popular Lies About Graphic Design. The Barcelona-based publishers failed keep Amazon informed about this delay and Amazon have consequently cancelled all orders and pre-orders for the book.
Would-be purchasers (or re-purchasers) can visit http://www.actar.com where the book can be purchased directly or email [email protected] for a list of alternative suppliers etc.
Many thanks,
Craig Ward /
