Ramat Gan House by Pitsou Kedem

Located east of Tel Aviv in Ramat Gan, Israel is this Pitsou Kedem-designed single family residence that appears to be a large white box. Upon closer inspection, you’ll see horizontal breaks in the white structure that let light into the house as well as to give brief glimpses inside. Glass windows and walls make up a good portion of the exterior, part of which are hidden by the structure.

The main living space is an open concept floor plan which features the kitchen, living, and dining rooms. The floor-to-ceiling sliding doors open the main floor up onto a patio and pool area. The pool is situated close to the house giving a perfect view while indoors.

An open metal staircase connects the three floors without closing off the space.

I love how the light comes through the horizontal spaces at night.

You reach the entrance by crossing a metal bridge to the door.
