Réaction Poétique: Wooden Objects by Jaime Hayon for Cassina

Half a century after his death, Le Corbusier’s work is still inspiring as evidenced by Jaime Hayon’s latest collection, Réaction Poétique. Designed for Cassina, the objects reference the organic shapes of Le Corbusier’s architecture in the form of four table centerpieces, a tray, and two small side tables.

Each piece is built from solid ash wood and stained black with a low gloss finish, letting you focus on the shapes themselves.

The objects are part of Cassina’s larger LC 50 Collection, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. First it acknowledges Le Corbusier’s death, but it also highlights the designs of Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, which Cassina has added to the collection over the years.
