Reader Help for Gail
Gail sent me a photo of a table that she believes to be an early or custom Knoll piece. Can any antique or vintage dealers or mid-century modern enthusiasts shed any light on this piece?

appears to be an early warren platner knock off.
I think it is closer to a Knoll Noguchi Cyclone design. But with a denser base rod cluster — probably an “independent” manufacturer. It should have a Knoll label or marking if it is an original.

I live right around the corner from a Knoll building in Grand Rapids, MI. I could print the pic and check with them, perhaps…?
