Richard Brendon Meets Patternity

London-based Richard Brendon is not only a designer, he’s a British bone china specialist, and his latest collaboration with pattern innovators, Patternity has led to beautiful china collections called Warp and Reason. The tabletop series is handmade by craftsmen in Stoke-on-Trent and pays homage to over two centuries of British culture.

The Reason range includes three plates, a teapot, teacup, coffee cup, milk jug, sugar bowl, and mug, all decorated with bold, cobalt blue striped patterns.

The Warp series includes a teacup and coffee cup, with saucers to match. The saucers come with cobalt blue patterns with burnished gold details. They’re paired with Brendon’s widely-known Reflect cups that are mirrored and reflect and warp the patterns from the saucers.
