ROOM Collection by Erik Olovsson & Kyuhyung Cho

ROOM Collection is a modular furniture system that is made up of 25 stackable blocks with geometric voids and a low table that let you compose your own, unique storage unit. Designed by Erik Olovsson and Kyuhyung Cho, the collection was inspired by architecture and a desire to create furniture that acts as rooms for objects.

The components can be mixed and matched into any style of cabinet you want, whether it’s a long, low shelf, or a tall cabinet. No matter what, you’ll end up with a graphic, sculptural piece.

The block’s voids were each inspired by specific objects, like the round for bottles of wine, zigzag for phones or tablets, or a peak for an open book. Each one invites an object to be a part of the composition.
