Scarlet Splendour Launched Two New Collections in Milan

Siblings Ashish Bajoria and Suman Kanodia founded Scarlet Splendour with the goal of merging great design with luxury. They duo brought on designer Matteo Cibic to create their first two collections, a lighting collection named Luce Naga and a furniture collection named Vanilla Noir. Their debut will be at Spazio Rossana Orlandi during Salone 2015 and here’s a sneak peek of both collections.

The fine ceramic Luce Naga collection was inspied by the fluid movements of a serpent. The curvaceous lights are classic without being dull. Crafted in gold or white fine ceramic in Italy, the lights features hand blown covers that are placed over the LED bulbs.

Inspired by the Indian handicraft of bone and horn inlay, Vanilla Noir updates that idea with modern polymers and pigments. Classic Italian forms remain and are completed in India using traditional methods of inlay work in modern patterns.
