While fishing around, I found this Philippe Starck chair at Wright Now. I’ve never seen this design before. It’s really quite strange.

The name of this chair is Pat Conley II, designed in 1985 and published in a book called “STARCK mobilier, ISBN 2-907010-00 X. I have a Pat Conley in black and the chair is quite comfortable!
It’s fun to read this – because before I sat in it, I thought exactly the same as the three first posters above. But Christof is right – it is actually a very, very comfortable chair to sit in. Which makes it a truly great design. The silver and white versions are not to my taste either though – the black (like mine
) is a real eyecatcher.
