You might think that because I lean more toward a minimalist aesthetic that I don’t like glitter, sequins, or beads. Well, that’s not true when it comes to art. I’m really into the work of artist Stephanie Hirsch. A former fashion and swimwear designer with experience in beading and embroidery, she turned to the “canvas.”
Having spent time in India learning how to create dimension and embellishments with beading. After selling her company in 2008, and going through some difficult times, Stephanie began seeking mantras to keep her positive. Since then she’s been sketching and creating beaded artwork based on these mantras, and her newest work will be released in the next few months.
