Storm in a Tea Cup

This Storm in a Tea Cup curiosity is a limited, hand crafted piece by John Lumbus. It is what is known as a timeless automata design, initially produced using second-hand bone china tea cups. Contemporary Dutch and English versions of it have been developed in collaboration with Laikingland and ceramics specialists, Royal Delft and The New English.

Turn the handle and the golden boat rides the mechanical waves, above the stormy clouds a shining bolt of lightning is revealed. See it moving here:
