Suite Novotel: A Whimsical Hotel Lounge by Constance Guisset

French designer Constance Guisset created an interior space for Accor Suite Novotel in The Hague, Netherlands and Paris, where they approached her to come up with a concept that makes a hotel feel like home. The idea was to bring that everyday comfort we find in our own homes and bring that into the public arena.

Guisset crafted intimate seating areas but with an open space plan for everyone to share, whether it be business professionals or families.

Using furniture, lighting, and objects that she herself has designed, Guisset invites each visitor to sit back and be enveloped by the cozy chairs. Surrounded by the playful furnishings that are balanced by light woods, the space offers a fresh perspective on hotel design.

The soft, but whimsical palette that she’s known for is showcased throughout the various accents.
