Pli Folding Chair is a minimal design created by Switzerland-based designer Florian Hauswirth. He started his career as a model builder for Vitra in Switzerland. He was able to construct models for some of the most renowned designers in the industry, such as Jasper Morrison, Philippe Stark, and Antonio Citterio to name a few.

Created by furniture design grad student Dong-yeop Han of South Korea, this collection of furniture has the ability to store your stuff both inside and outside with its elastic bands.
Nomad Seating by Gloster
There's nothing better than lounging by a pool or outside on your patio and, when the chairs are comfortable, there's no place I'd rather be. The lightweight and modular design of the Nomad collection, designed by Mark Gabbertas for Gloster, is perfectly named because the pieces can be moved anywhere and reconfigured to your heart's content.

iRock: The World's First Power-Generating iPad Rocking Chair
This chair makes me want to sing 'I wanna rock right now' really loudly (from Rob Base's song "It Takes Two") and I have the Zurich-based Micasa Lab to thank for that. They developed the iRock, a traditional looking rocking chair with the ability to charge your iPad (or iPhone) just by simply rocking back and forth.

Fishline Chair by Nendo
Seeking a new way to finish wooden surfaces besides the typical varnish and paint, the Japanese design studio Nendo created the Fishline Chair. Using dyed fishing line, they wound it tightly around the wooden chair giving it a varnish-like shine. In the process, it made the wood grain pop while adding a subtle hint of color.
Hex Chair by Incorporated
Hex Chair is a minimal design created by New York City-based designers Incorporated for Lerival. The furniture system embodies flexibility and modularity as its core concepts. Consisting of either an ottoman, stool, or chair, the Hex family can amalgamate itself into any number of positions with an infinite landscape of possibilities.
