Insound 20
I was super stoked when Insound emailed me this fantastic project - The Insound 20 - the marriage of indie music and design. Insound teamed up with designer Jason Munn of design studio The Small Stakes to develop an exclusive music merchandise & design project. The Insound 20 project features iconic designs for twenty of Insound’s favorite bands, silk-screened onto American Apparel t-shirts & hoodies as well as on hand-numbered and signed silk-screened posters. All product editions are limited. Insound plans on launching a new series each year, featuring a new designer or studio and twenty bands.

Silhouette Pictures by Karl Johnson
I am always impressed with people who have paper-cutting talent. It amazes me. Each silhouette is cut out entirely freehand. Karl looks at the subject’s profile (whether in person or from a photograph) and starts cutting their exact likeness out of black paper.
