Simplymodern

I love this print from Etsy seller ttgart (formerly simplymodern) – the colors are really beautiful. It’s also available in other colors.

I really like this print by Irana Douer.

I may buy this. OK, I think I am buying this.

Sandra Fettingis contacted me about her art and I immediately found it to be captivating and original. I also wondered, “how did she do that?” Well, it’s some sort of digital illustration on plexiglass. Don’t ask me how she does it, but the end product is fascinating and just plain cool. Check out her website here.

I found Kate Sutton through some of her prints available at Urban Outfitters. Her illustrations are so adorable and whimsical.
She also has a blog here and an etsy shop here.

Betsy Walton is one of my Flickr friends and her art is so beautiful and whimsical that I had to share.

Amanda Mendient is a freelance illustrator and artist whose paintings just seem to draw me in. I like how she can convey a mood that makes me feel like I’m there, experiencing the same thing. Her website is chock full of more beautiful artwork.

Modern decor for kids rooms is sometimes hard to find and can be pricey. Enter Avalisa. The thing I like best about Avalisa’s art is that it’s not all kid-related, so I can get something for my home too (although, I kinda like the animals)!

Katy Horan is such a unique artist who makes folky, storytelling art and illustration. She also has a blog detailing her new works and upcoming shows. I suggest checking out the amazing details she puts into every painting.

Artist Casey Jex Smith uses mixed media to create strange and wonderful realistic and abstract drawings. I can’t get enough of the detail.
