Doodle Sofa by Front for Moroso

Doodle Sofa by Front for Moroso

The three members of Front merged their actual doodles that they had drawn during design meetings to create the pattern of the Doodle Sofa for Moroso. The sofa form comes from a circular shape that is folded to make the perfect little sofa. But the best thing about it is the “absent minded” doodling they were able to capture and inscribe into the piece showing bits of their creative minds.

Gispen Classics Reinvented by Thijs Smeets

Gispen Classics Reinvented by Thijs Smeets

It became a collection inspired on the look and feel of the 1930s, the time the classics were designed by W.J. Gispen.” This collection really feels good to me – nice and cohesive.

The Cord Collection by Ilan Dei Studio

The Cord Collection by Ilan Dei Studio

The Cord Collection is a colorful new series of outdoor furniture inspired by those modernist string chairs made popular in places like Palm Springs. Designed by the Venice, California-based Ilan Dei Studio, the pieces are ergonomic and minimalist in design, yet completely durable and made to hold up in harsh temps. What’s even better is that you can hose them down when they need to be cleaned – awesome! Also, each piece is available in several color options. Pictured above is the Lounge chair.
