The WOOD-OO collection was created by Prague-based kdomazidlibydli (try saying that 10 times fast), the design firm of Jan Vacek and Martin Smid. Inspired by wood shingles, the collection is simple and raw using the traditional roof element in a new way.

London-based Minimalux has a collection of products made of copper, silver, brass, and glass. Designer Mark Holmes, who also co-founded Established & Sons, has an eye for creating beautifully shaped objects that also serve a purpose. The items are simple, yet they are offered in premium materials making each one a minimal and sleek work of art. We pretty much want everything.
Israeli designer Hagit Pincovici is a third generation artisan and continues the legacy of solid craftsmanship but adds her own modern aesthetic to her work. She designed the A line chest of drawers for the Italian design label Colè.
Marco Sousa Santos has designed some new pieces to add to the BRANCA collection, which he showed recently in Milan. These are my most favorite – that green gradient is killing me (and I usually hate green!).
From Russian industrial designer Tembolat Gugkaev comes a line of unique, and most definitely quirky, furniture and housewares. He has an uncommon way of looking at things and throws in an unexpected twist that gives each piece a fresh and super fun feel.

The Harbord Loft Bi-Sectional is a compact sectional with mid-century inspired details and 100% FSC-certified wood. The chaise can be configured on the left, the right, or as standalone seating (below).
Breg Hanssen has designed a new cabinet for Vij5 using Meike Meijer’s NewspaperWood (wood planks made from old newspapers). I really don’t like purple, but I am strangely drawn to this shade of pinkish lavender (at least that’s the color it’s appearing to be on my computer).
Werner Neumann, a furniture designer from The Netherlands, has two new collections of furniture, Organic and Birchwood, that he exhibited at Ventura Lambrate in Milan.
