Y'A PAS LE FEU AU LAC Wooden Home Decor
French design collective Y'A PAS LE FEU AU LAC began as a collaboration between designer FX Balléry and "tabletiers turners" Marie and Gregory Bodel where both sides brought their expertise to the table (quite literally). The resulting wood-based collection designed by a select group of handpicked designers around the world, is full of contemporary objects and housewares that are not only fun, they are completely useful.
ALLT - ALL THAT (and a Bag of Chips)
I just discovered ALLT and I'm addicted. Everything they've designed is ridiculously cool. Run by Peter Simonik and Elena Bolcekova, and based in Slovakia, the studio has churned out quite a bit of fantastic stuff in just a short amount of time (the studio was founded in 2011). London Design Festival 2012: 100% Design Interiors
All eyes were on 100% Design at this year's London Design Festival. Under new ownership and with a new director, the hype had begun months previously and continued right up to the moment we entered the rather spectacular entrance, designed by London agency Shaw + Skirm. In its 18th year, this predominantly trade show seems to have found its feet again. Here are our top picks from the Interiors Section.
London Design Festival 2012: designersblock Highlights
With queues around the block for the opening night party, designersblock was set to be hit from the beginning. And, it didn't disappoint. Known for their use of interesting spaces (they were in the Familoe Building last year), this year's venue was the Southbank Centre's Festival Village - a space that's never been open to the public before; it's usually used as a green room for performing artists.

I would never have thought if you said the words "rusty iron furniture" that I would ever like it. However, there is something appealing about these pieces from Israeli designer Yifat Levin of Studio9. I don't know if it's the rawness of the metal or the potential for interacting with the material that I like best...

Unzip This Ufo Felt Cushion by Luca Cozzi and It Becomes A Mat
Ufo is a fun little object from Italian designer and illustrator Luca Cozzi. The multifunctional design not only acts as a bean bag-like place to sit, but it can also be used flat as a comfy place to relax on the floor. It's made from two triangular pieces of gray felt that zip together to create a three-dimensional form.
