The Food Project: The Shape Of Taste

The Food Project: The Shape of Taste is a new exhibition at the Mart Museum, the Modern and contemporary art museum of Trento e Rovereto, in Italy.

Curated by Beppe Finessi, the exhibition is a design-meets-food experiment where industrial and experimental design merges with food. The exhibit will be divided into a number of thematic areas and opens with a tribute to the Good Design book by Bruno Munari.

This is definitely not an exhibition to miss – international chefs will be cooking, food will be presented in various forms, various types of pasta, designed by such as Giorgetto Giugiaro, Mauro Olivieri and Christian Ragot, will emblematically show how the creativity of designers converges with industrial production, site-specific project made for the Mart by Martì GuixĂ©, creative recipes, and there will even be a series of essays published by Electa, Milan that explore the relationship between food and design.

And if that wasn’t enough, exhibition comes to an end by showcasing the work of some young, talented designres who will present their idea of the future of food.
