I dream about having a resource like The Good Mod nearby. The Good Mod is a vintage dealer specializing in mid-century modern furnishings. Located in Portland, OR, they’ve got over 7,000 square foot filled to the brim with MCM goodness.They also offer refinishing and repair services.
Does anyone know a place like this in the Philadelphia (tri-state) area?
Oakenshawe, in Baltimore, has a great selection of mid-century furnishings. I’ve drooled over quite a few of their items. Looks like it’s a two floor store with more items online.

Hey Good Mod, is this your new showroom layout or are these the old pics? Sure didn’t look like this last time I was in.
Matt, When was the last time you stopped by?
That first pic was taken about 2 weeks ago (It looks different again). We tripled our size a few months back and now have three spaces in the warehouse.
If the last time was when we only had the one space you NEED to come and check it out again.
We are open Sat. 12-3 and everyday by appointment.
