Tiny Art at Your Fingertips: Nail Landscapes by Alice Bartlett

You know the saying about having the world at your fingertips? Well, these are like having a mini-world sitting right on the tips of your fingers. London-based computer coder Alice Bartlett took a trip to the hobby store in pursuit of one thing and somehow ended up in the model train section and boom – inspiration hit. Thinking that the grass and tiny people and animals would make for a good photo, she got to work setting up the tiny vignettes on one hand while holding the camera in the other.

We all know Pinterest and websites in general are flooded with the latest nail art these days but this idea wasn’t about rocking the latest fad on your tips. It was all about the interesting images that could be made using her nails, and that she definitely accomplished. When she was done taking photos, she glued the miniatures around her place as tiny surprises for her visitors. Love it!
