Paris-based designer Samuel Accoceberry created a collection of rugs for Chevalier Edition called Tresse, which is French for plait, i.e. braid. Meant to reflect “the spirit of plaiting and hand work,” the series uses a traditional hand-knotting technique to achieve the contemporary braided look of the design.
The bold look changes shape depending on the size of the rug and visually the pattern morphs as well. I love that the edges remain curvy, playing into the pattern even more.
