Udder Table by Katie Stout
Are you sitting down?

Katie Stout just completed her sophomore year at RISD and sent me her Udder Table. I have no words about this table other than it makes me slightly nauseated yet also captivated, so I will let Katie describe her reasoning for creating this table:
Udder Table depicts society’s dependency on milk while also celebrating the cow and her teats. Milk makes the human strong and healthy, thus dairy has become emblematic of America. However, the cow seems to be appreciated only when doused in ketchup and slapped between buns. This totemic table is a reminder to an overly sanitized society that milk comes from a teat, not a refrigerated carton at the super market. Udder Table glorifies the bovine mammary gland and bestows the cow with the totemic status she deserves for the production of America’s favorite beverage.

Amazingly bad for a student. Usually, you have to be a professional to be that bad.
Typical post-rationalized bull.
(pun intended)
It’s just wrong. I might have been OK with it if not for the vein detail!
hey there so first of all i love the table
secondly, a study shown of deep investigation of the dairy administrations shows milk isnt all that good for you, in fact, it takes more calcium from your bones to digest then it gives to you
I’ve seen things in a public toilet better looking than that.
this is beautiful
really incredible craft, i love it — hey tom, take me to one of your public toilets sometime?
A lot of these posters are negative nancies. I think the table is lovely: quirky, innovative, and fun.
Moo.
