Rustic modern is a fitting classification for the work of Varian Designs, Forest Dickey’s San Francisco-based company.
In their sophomore collection, Varian Designs blends reclaimed wood from whisky casks and construction sites with steel trestles to form a collection that figuratively and literally bridges the gap between man made and nature made. Groovy stuff that is the perfect fit in the living room or board room. They are also working on a few cool custom projects helping people deconstruct old barns to make new furnishings and heirlooms for future generations.
