Jose Parla, Eric Haze and Natas Kaupas from Miami, NYC and LA have created a set of three limited edition T-shirts for The Standard Hotel’s three properties in those cities. Incorporating black and white typography, each style gives a different the vibe and brings out the feeling and culture of each cosmopolitan city.

Just a note: I’ve been to the Standard in LA, and it’s like an Americal Apparel ad.

  1. Ok. Nice shirts. No notes on where to get these?

  2. I like these! Just a terminological nitpick: typography is the arrangement of type. There is no typography here. This is lettering, letters made by hand, specifically for each word. Can also be referred to as writing, as that’s what the graff folks call it.

  3. Interesting – thanks, Stephen. Hopefully the Standard’s PR people are reading :)
