Where The Magic Happens

Alright, Caryn Grossman, you had me with “design is magic”.

When CG Creative Interiors was approached by the Atlanta based ad agency, The Jones Group, to design their new space, they definitely made this magic happen! They proposed a plan that consisted of specifications of sustainable materials, the adaptive re-use of the industrial loft, and a fabrication process that minimized waste. Two adjacent lofts were stripped to their bare bones to reveal the beauty in the architectural and structural details. Exposed brick, plaster walls, and beams contrast with modern eco-friendly materials such as Kirei Board, 3-Form Chroma, and Pep, to reveal the perfect story of the agency.

CG Interiors collaborated with People of Resource, an Atlanta-based creative agency, to create the custom furnishings used in the space. The fabulous tables are created out of Kirei board and 3-Form’s stunning Chroma product. Chroma can be used in so many applications and this combination has to be one of my favorites! The bold artwork brings in such a dynamic energy. Local Atlanta artist, Mishi, created a story of the creative process on Agriboard, which are panels of compressed wheatstraw.

The sculptural lighting dances playfully down from the ceiling in front of the rough brick wall. The red just pops while the texture of Kirei Board counters and walls integrate into the environment (all the lighting was designed by local light sculptor Christopher Moulder and is constructed of recycled steel).

These high gloss red cabinets look stunning!  And guess where they are from…IKEA! CG Interiors, you created your magic, and I think the space is perfect for The Jones Group to create theirs!
