William Emmerson is a furniture designer located in Los Angeles, who has recently created a few pieces for Ralph Pucci.
Emmerson’s style is the presence of absence or Zen and the art of interior decorating. “I start with a basic form, and then I subtract from it for a cleaner look,” says Emmerson. “Therein lays the paradox of simple design. It looks easy, but actually it’s the most difficult thing to do right. Simplicity is always the most elusive thing. I believe in a seamless whole.”
