NOWNESS In Residence: Knud Holscher [VIDEO]

A new edition of NOWNESS’s In Residence series, goes inside the modern brick home of famed Danish architect and designer Knud Holscher.

Holscher’s residence is located about 25 minutes north of Copenhagen in the sleepy suburb of Holte. When you arrive, you’re greeted with a large, square-ish brick facade that’s equally elegant and unpretentious, surrounded by beautiful foliage. Inside, it’s modest and still very much in its original condition from the 1970s. Having worked for Arne Jacobsen, Flos, Erco and others, Holscher was also trained as an architect and also launched is own award-winning design studio, Knud Holscher Design.
