As we head into fall, barefoot and sandy, putting a rug down in the kitchen or under the dining table, is always a good idea, both to catch spills, and provide some cushion. A kilim instantly makes a white room warm. The rich colors and often graphic patterns pair well with modern decor; Frank Lloyd Wright championed the look.
