A 2015 Salone del Mobile Preview from Moroso

Moroso is set to debut some really cool new pieces of furniture at this year’s Salone del Mobile. Working with their incredible roster of renowned designers, this year’s collection, like with previous ones, was inspired by the one word Moroso asks of the designers – beauty. Take a look at a few of the pieces they will unveil:

For its final version, Moroso is presenting Glider with more softer and rounded lines making it a cozy place to relax in whether you choose the rocking or stable version. Designed by Ron Arad, the sofa will be upholstered with the Blur fabric (remember Marc Thorpe’s Blur Sofa?), which is produced exclusively for Moroso by FEBRIK in this red-purple gradation.

Working with Nendo, 2015 sees two new products as a result of the collaboration, where the design brand’s signature minimalist approach falls right in line with Moroso’s aesthetic. The Float Stool and the Corners 3 Sided Cube Box both play with geometry to produce lightweight, gravity-defying designs.

St. Mark, by Martino Gamper, is a chair with simple, clean style produced by a continuous curved line from the legs through the back. The bold color juxtaposed with its almost retro look pays homage to Italian design.
