Shape Study Quilts by Erin Wilson

I found quilter Erin Wilson somewhere on the interwebs and I instantly realized that she was onto something. Her newest series of quilts explores geometric shapes, many reminiscent of architecture and objects.

She explains, “My natural state is intricate color, pattern, and grid, and this work developed from a desire to peel away these layers, with guidelines of two values (dark and light), silhouette shapes, and a loose, simple layout.”
