Polish design firm PERA studio designed the interior of this once all-white apartment in Krakow into the cheerful space it is today. Breaking up the spans of light gray walls and ceilings and simple wooden floors are bursts of sunny yellow and cherry red accents that are bound to make the residents happy.
In the kitchen, not only are the shiny cabinets a bright yellow, the island, countertops, and floors are as well. The all-yellow space is broken up with white accents in the form of the oven, faucet, and kitchen chairs. While not for everyone, the bold space totally works in this apartment.
The apartment isn’t all shockingly bright though – the space is balanced out with a gray sofa and gray trim around the windows and doors.
Switching gears in the hallway, a fiery red is brought in for the interior doors.
Behind one of those red doors is a mostly white bathroom complete with a hanging red pendant light above.
I love that the interior of the bathroom door and trim are also red, helping to tie in the light fixture.
