Food Storage & Transportation Containers Made from Recycled Materials

Sebastiano Tonelli developed the 25% Collection as a way to store and transport food using waste material from the STA company in Rovereto, Italy. To construct air ducts, the company uses polyurethane and aluminum sandwich panels, which have thermal and insulating properties that are perfect for food storage.

Using 25% of production waste to make them, the clever containers recall traditional Italian baskets with a clean, modern feel. The material is clad in wood veneer and highlighted with a light aqua color.
