The Biology-Inspired Art of Jenny Kemp

We first spotted the intricate, psychedelic work of artist Jenny Kemp on Saatchi Art. Inspired by the unseen phenomenon of biology and organic matter, Jenny uses hundreds of lines and shapes to create these colorful works of art. She examines different bodies of space from different angles, which reveals further details and realms within one piece. Beyond compositions on paper, Jenny also creates small stop-motion videos by taking up-close, macro shots of her paintings. Through video and illustration, Jenny connects flatness/depth, handmade/digital, and movement/stillness.
